01 — General information
By accessing and using provideocv.com, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Operator: ANYPROYES SRL, CUI 33611809, Nr. Reg. Com. J2014000476097, Str. Octav Doicescu nr. 18, Bl. E3, Sc. 1, Ap. 23, Municipiul Brăila, România. Brand: ProVideoCV, part of the ProDan ecosystem (A.D.Prodan / ProDan Media). Website: provideocv.com. Contact: contact@provideocv.com. These Terms apply to everyone who uses provideocv.com — candidates, recruiters, agencies, employers, visitors and subscribers. Products bought through third-party platforms such as Payhip, Stripe or Amazon are also governed by those platforms’ own terms, refund rules and delivery conditions.02 — What ProVideoCV is, and its current stage
ProVideoCV is being built in the open and is currently in beta. Parts of it open one at a time. Joining the list means you are told when each part opens; it does not guarantee a specific feature, date, or outcome. Through provideocv.com we may provide or promote: a profile page carrying your video, skills, languages, experience and availability; a shareable profile link and QR code; free guides, resources and educational material; paid digital products such as CV templates, script packs and guides; paid review and preparation services; and access for recruiters, agencies and employers to profiles that candidates have chosen to make visible to them. All content is educational, informational and preparatory. It is not legal, financial, medical, immigration or guaranteed employment advice.03 — Placement, and what we never charge for
ProVideoCV never charges a candidate a fee for finding work, for being seen, or for contact with an employer. This follows the Maritime Labour Convention 2006, Regulation 1.4, which requires that seafarers can reach employment without charge to the seafarer. What we do sell is preparation — guides, templates, CV and video review. Buying any of it is optional, and buying it does not improve your position, your visibility, or your chances of being contacted. Not buying anything does not reduce them. Where an agency, employer or partner pays us, that is between us and them. It is never charged back to the candidate.
04 — Your content, and who sees it
Your CV, video, photograph and profile details remain yours. You give ProVideoCV permission to host and display them only to the extent you choose.- You choose the visibility level of your profile — public, unlisted, or visible to agents and recruiters only — and you can change it at any time.
- Sharing with recruiters and using your video publicly are two separate permissions. Neither is required in order to receive help, a review, or a profile.
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
- We never ask for, collect, store or display your home address or your bank or card details.
- We do not contact your current employer without your permission.
05 — Removing your profile
You can ask us to remove your profile at any time and we will. One email. No form, no reason needed. Actioned within 72 hours and confirmed to you in writing. The page and the video files are deleted, not hidden.

06 — Free access, and the first year
A free account stays free: one main video, a public profile, a shareable link and QR code, your skills, experience and availability, and an employer contact button. The first 888 members receive twelve months of Pro features at no cost. At the end of those twelve months nothing is charged and nothing is required — the account returns to Free automatically. Your main video stays live. Any extra Pro videos become hidden rather than deleted, and unlock again if you later upgrade. No card is taken to begin with, so none can be charged. the first 888 is the first 888 candidate accounts. The twelve months run from the date your own account joins, not from a shared launch date, so each first-year account ends on its own date. We write to you before that date — around thirty days before, and again in the final week — so it never arrives as a surprise. Nothing is charged on that date and no card is held.06.1 — What each level includes
Every account starts as Free, and Free is never taken away. The levels above it add capacity — more to show — and nothing else.- Free, always: one video (your one-minute answer), up to four images, your own page and link, visible to employers, and the right to delete yourself at any time.
- Tier 1: two videos (the second answers a different question — a skill or a language), up to eight images, and certificates and reference letters attached to your page.
- Tier 2: three videos (the third: where you see yourself), up to twenty-one images as a portfolio of your work, your page in a second language, and a short link of your own.
- Tier 3: everything in Tier 2, plus live sessions and a private support line for crew — help finding the right official route for a contract, pay or welfare question. It signposts; it does not give legal or medical advice. Nobody outside your account, including employers, can see that you used it.
07 — Pricing, orders and delivery
Prices may be shown in EUR or another currency depending on the product page and payment platform, and may include VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice. Payments are processed by Payhip, Stripe or another authorised provider; currency conversion and card fees are handled by your own bank or card issuer. Digital products are delivered by instant download, access link or email after payment. Review and feedback services are delivered by email or another agreed method. You are responsible for giving a correct email address. If you have paid and received nothing, contact us and we will fix it.08 — Payments, refunds and withdrawal
Where Romanian and European Union consumer law applies, you may have a 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal. Digital products are delivered immediately after payment. By buying one you expressly request immediate delivery and accept that the right of withdrawal may be limited or lost once the product has been downloaded, accessed or made available, except where the law requires otherwise. For review or feedback services, if you ask us to begin during the 14-day period, you accept that work may start immediately and that a proportionate amount may be payable for what has already been done. If a service has been fully delivered with your prior agreement, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply, except where the law requires otherwise. Subscriptions, notice and renewal. Paid access is offered monthly, quarterly or annually, at the prices shown on the site at the time of purchase. Before any renewal charge we send written notice to the email address on the account, stating the amount, the date and how to cancel: at least three days ahead for a monthly plan, ten days for a quarterly plan, and thirty days for an annual plan. If a subscription simply ends rather than renewing, we give the same notice so that access is never lost silently. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; we do not cut access short.09 — Business accounts
This section applies to agencies, recruiters and employers. They hold the same account on the same terms; there is no separate agency tier. The account. A business account opens free for three months, counted from the day it opens and not from any shared date. It includes opening the profiles in your department, watching candidate videos, and contacting candidates who have opted in. Anything after the free three months is agreed in writing between us; no fee is published on this site, and nothing renews on its own. One per company. During the beta phase we open one business account per company. Any number of companies in a country may hold one. No fee on a hire. We take nothing when anyone is hired, at any time, from any party. We do not sell ranking, position or visibility within the candidate pool, and no payment moves a candidate up a list. Renewal. Nothing renews automatically. At the end of the free three months, continuing is a choice on both sides, and we may decline to continue an account that has gone unused. Verification. Every business account is verified before it opens: a company email address on the company’s own domain, a live website on that domain, a public company registration number, and a short video call. We do not ask for passports, personal identity documents or bank details, and we do not store them. Compliance. Account holders confirm that their recruitment practices comply with applicable law in the countries where they operate, including the Maritime Labour Convention where it applies. We may suspend or close an account that misrepresents itself, or that charges seafarers or other candidates fees for finding or securing work. Payment. A business account is paid either by card through Stripe, on Stripe’s own secure pages, or by bank transfer against an invoice. Card details are never entered on this site, and we never see or store them. We do not keep any bank or card number on file. Advertising. Any banner or newsletter space we ever sell is separate from accounts and never affects which candidates appear, or in what order. Advertising never affects a candidate’s position in the pool.10 — Liability
ProVideoCV helps you present yourself. It does not promise a job. No guarantee is made about employment, interviews, contracts, salary, visas, medical clearance, agency decisions, employer decisions, or any specific outcome. Hiring decisions are made by employers and agencies, not by us. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service involved, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for platform failures, payment-provider issues, device or connection problems, or decisions taken by third parties.11 — Conduct, and intellectual property
Profiles must be truthful and must be your own. Accounts created to impersonate another person, to advertise, or to mislead employers may be removed without notice. Recruiters, agencies and employers given access to profiles may use them only to consider candidates for real roles — not to build their own databases, resell the information, or contact candidates for anything else. The ProVideoCV name, branding, design, text, templates, frameworks and materials are copyright protected and remain with ANYPROYES SRL / A.D.Prodan / ProDan Media. Paid materials may not be resold, redistributed, published or built into another paid product without written permission. Candidates keep the copyright in their own video and CV. Authenticity — the one rule. Everything you upload must be genuinely yours and genuinely real: your own face, your own voice, your own work, recorded by you. Artificially generated or synthetic images, video or voice are not permitted anywhere on a profile, and neither is presenting another person’s work as your own. This is the basis on which an employer can trust what they are watching. Where we have reasonable grounds to believe this rule has been broken we may hide or remove the profile; we will tell the account holder and give them a fair opportunity to respond before any removal becomes permanent.12 — Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemics, strikes, internet outages, platform failures, cyberattacks, government restrictions or payment-provider issues. Where appropriate we will reschedule, replace, restore access, or refund.13 — Applicable law, and changes to these terms
Romanian law applies. Disputes will first be addressed directly and in good faith. Consumers may also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use an alternative dispute resolution (SAL) entity: anpc.ro/ce-este-sal. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. These Terms may be updated. The version published on this page, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies.Pass it on
What Pro adds, and what it never adds. Free gives you one main video. Pro raises that limit — more videos, more documents and images, and your own short link. That is the whole difference: Pro changes what your page can hold. It does not change who can see it, where you appear, or how often. A Pro account and a Free account are equally visible to every employer, permanently. There is no paid placement, no featured slot and no priority in search on this site, and there never will be.
Nothing is charged before the pool reaches 888. While we are under 888 candidate accounts, every feature is free for everyone. Paid tiers open only after that, and the first 888 accounts then keep Pro free for their own twelve months as described above.

Answer every question in four parts: the situation, what you had to do, what you did, how it ended. Worked example — “Tell me about a difficult guest.” The room was not ready at check-in and he was angry. I had to fix it before it became a complaint. I moved him to a ready room of the same category, carried his bags myself and sent coffee up. He stayed four nights and asked for me by name at check-out. Short, true, ends well. First, three things that fix most CVs for free: put your most recent job at the top, cut anything older than ten years unless it matters, and write what you achieved rather than what you were responsible for — “ran a 14-cabin section alone during refit” beats “responsible for cleaning”.
