Put your video where the manager is already looking
Almost every cruise and hotel application system has one optional field near the end of the form. Almost nobody fills it in. Paste your ProVideoCV link there, and the person reading your application can see and hear you before they open a single PDF.
Build the profileOne page, one 60-second video, one link that never changes.
Find the optional fieldIt is labelled Website, Portfolio, Personal page or LinkedIn, usually under Additional information.
Paste it and apply as normalNothing else about your application changes. You have simply added the only part of it that is a person.
It costs nothing, it breaks no rule, and it works because a recruiter reading forty applications will always click the one thing on the page that moves.

What nobody tells you before you sign
Eight things worth knowing before you accept a cruise contract.
Mentorship, CV review and career guidance from someone who has worked every level of this industry — from cabin steward to Assistant Housekeeping Manager on a new-build.
Nothing to join. Your page costs nothing. The first 888 people get everything free for twelve months, counted from the day they join.
Yes. No CV, no diploma, no experience needed to start. You need an email address and sixty seconds.
To start, just your email. Then sixty seconds of video filmed on your own phone. We send you what to say, line by line.
Twelve months from the day you join, not from a shared date. When it ends nothing is charged and nothing disappears. Your profile and your main video stay live and free.
The site stays open. Joining stays free. Extra slots and extra tools get priced then, and we say so long before anything changes. Nobody who joined early loses what they have.
You choose: public, unlisted, or visible only to businesses with an account here. You can change it whenever you like, free, on every plan.
Never. Not to be seen, not to be ranked higher, not to be placed. We also take no fee when anyone is hired. Nobody pays us for a job.
We are not a recruitment agency and we place nobody. What we do is make you visible to the businesses holding an account here, and hand you one link you can send anywhere yourself. What you can do today, free: record your sixty seconds and put that link on every application you send.
You get one link. Send it with any application, or paste it into the Website or Portfolio field most company forms have. The manager sees you before they read you.
Four beats, in this order. Who you are — name, and the job you do. What you have done — two places, not ten. One moment that shows how you work, not what you know. What you want next — the role and when you are free. Film it in one take, phone upright, window in front of you. Do not read it. Our free Hospitality Interview Master Playbook on the resources page walks it through with examples.
Answer every question in four parts: the situation, what you had to do, what you did, how it ended. Worked example — “Tell me about a difficult guest.” The room was not ready at check-in and he was angry. I had to fix it before it became a complaint. I moved him to a ready room of the same category, carried his bags myself and sent coffee up. He stayed four nights and asked for me by name at check-out. Short, true, ends well. The free playbook on our resources page has eight questions worked through like this. THE 88 goes much deeper, if you want it.
First, three things that fix most CVs for free: put your most recent job at the top, cut anything older than ten years unless it matters, and write what you achieved rather than what you were responsible for — “ran a 14-cabin section alone during refit” beats “responsible for cleaning”. If you want a professional pair of eyes on it after that, A.D.Prodan does a personal review — it is on the resources page. You never need it to join or be seen here.
Housekeeping, galley, restaurant, bar, guest service, entertainment, deck and technical, security and safety, labour and general, and shoreside and admin. Hospitality and cruise, on ships and ashore.
No. Show what you can do. Plenty of good hospitality people started with nothing on paper, which is exactly why this exists.
No. Speak in the language you are comfortable in. Employers want to see how you carry yourself, not a perfect accent.
No. Real face, real voice, real work, filmed by you. That rule is in our Terms and a profile that breaks it comes down. It is the reason an employer can trust what they are watching.
Yes, whenever you want, free. Nothing is locked.
No. We never sell candidate data to anyone, and nothing about you is shared beyond the visibility level you chose yourself.
Yes. One email to contact@provideocv.com. No form, no reason needed, actioned within 72 hours and confirmed in writing.
